And at least a little art, here's a quick 10-minute sketch I did of my husband a while ago...



He sits very still when he is on his laptop.. . .he gets a little fidgetty when he realizes I am drawing him.

Ha. I was remarking to myself yesterday how cosmically convenient it is that he never gets his face in photos. You had posted the one of him hugging kitty, his, profile has that scattered light, etc. Seems you figured out the best way to capture him. Contol all the elements!
